Kitchen #054: Space Optimization and Ceiling Hood Removal

Kitchen #054: Space Optimization and Ceiling Hood Removal

This renovation focused on modernizing the kitchen both aesthetically and functionally. A doorway was closed off and a partition moved to enlarge the adjacent bathroom, which we also fully renovated. These changes redefined circulation and enhanced space efficiency.

We removed the ceiling-mounted hood and replaced it with a downdraft extractor integrated into the cooktop for a cleaner look. The sink was relocated to improve workflow. A granite countertop adds elegance and durability. The tall unit block houses the fridge, ovens, and English-style pull-out drawers. The central island provides double-sided storage, accessible from the kitchen and dining area. Matching the floor, the backsplash tile visually unifies the ground floor.

Customer review :

We renovated the entire ground floor, including the kitchen, shower room, and tiling, and we are absolutely thrilled with the result! From the very beginning, the advice from Marie and Frédéric Dal Moro was invaluable in helping us choose every element of the renovation, while keeping our budget under control. All the contractors involved were trustworthy and provided excellent guidance, and the final outcome is stunning. What mattered most to us was how attentively they listened to our wishes and how available they were throughout the project—always ready to respond quickly and efficiently to ensure high-quality work. The timeline was respected, even with the changes that can arise during a renovation. We highly recommend Dal Moro Création for their professionalism, creativity, efficiency, and kindness. A heartfelt thank you, and we will not hesitate to work with you again on our future projects!
